Hey, I'm Eric

A lot of new faces here, and if we haven’t “met,” allow me to introduce myself.

I’m Eric Bach, founder of Bach Performance.

Since 2009, I’ve helped thousands of men & women transform their bodies, regain their confidence, and build lean, athletic bodies without living in the gym.

I’ve run my own coaching business since 2012. Our work has been featured in Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Men’s Fitness, T-Nation, Schwarzennegger, LiveStrong, and we've been fortunate to coach athletes in the NFL, NBA, NHL, and dozens of college sports, in addition to the thousands of busy men and women we’ve helped.

But none of that came easy.

I was the last kid to grow–at 5’2”, 103 lbs at age 14, I felt like a pathetic weakling.

I had zero confidence, small joints, and struggled to see results.

Fortunately, the help of a coach set me on the right track.

I went from skinny to strong.

My passion for athletics led me to coaching. When sports were no longer in the cards, I started helping our college teams, and by the time I was 24, I had run some collegiate strength and conditioning programs and was being mentored by top coaches in the industry.

In my own training, I’ve had to continuously research, test, and tweak to find the best methods. I honed my skills for years with clients in the gym before going “online,” and when I did, I was one of the earlier coaches to do so back in 2012.

Now at 36, I’m stronger, leaner, and more energized than I was in my 20s.
I’m a husband.
A father.
I’ve owned multiple businesses, including this one.

When I talk about being busy, stressed, having a lot on your plate when it comes to health, I’m not a 25-year-old life coach on ChatGPT…

I’m telling you stories from my life and my experience with thousands of clients.

These days, our transformation coaching has evolved.

It’s not “macros” and workouts.

There are layers to it. We incorporate everything from lab work and metabolic testing to optimizing habits and cognitive performance with our clients.

Ultimately, our goal is this: to help you look great naked (and perform at your best) without living in the gym.

Fitness is a force multiplier because the healthier you are while staying aligned with your life, the better your performance can be at work and at home.

We have a no B.S. approach.

We don’t waste our clients' time with fluff or gimmicks that drain your headspace.

We’re here to collapse time, eliminate the guesswork, and help you perform your best physically so you can show up your best.

So if that sounds like something that would be beneficial…

One wants to feel better. The other wants to be better. One chases comfort, hacks, and “what’s optimal.” The other asks:What works? Why does it work? Then executes… relentlessly. That’s who we coach. Guys like Joe, mid 50's, former athlete, president of a construction company, who messaged me.... That’s the mindset. We’re not in this for therapy sessions or pep talks. This isn’t “rah-rah” coaching. It’s results-first. Yes, we build flexibility around real life, family, business dinners,...

Most successful men have a secret they don't talk about: They're crushing it professionally... but embarrassed to take their shirt off. It's not about vanity. It's about alignment. Let's talk about Daniel.Daniel runs a successful consulting company. Travels constantly. High stress. High expectations. People depend on him. On paper? Winning. But privately, he told me something that cut deep: "I crush it at work, but I'm embarrassed to take my shirt off. My body doesn't reflect the man I know I...

This week I was talking with my client Matt. He’s in his early 30s, running a fast-growing business that’s closing another round of funding. He’s got a team of 90, a 1-year-old at home, and he’s been working from 7 am until 1–2am most nights. So I asked him the same question I ask every high-performer who’s juggling a dozen plates: “How are you handling food right now?” His answer? Predictable: “I don’t have time to think about it. I just grab a shake, a protein bar, and go.” And Matt’s not...
