On Discipline:

What does this mean in real life?

It means if you’re health and energy levels are holding you back in life, making that the priority–not grinding harder at work.

Or the opposite– If you’re healthy, lean, and jacked but dead broke you don’t need to workout for 90 minutes per day–you need to develop the skillset to improve your life financially.

Discipline is the root of all success.

Discipline is the driver of daily execution.

It's the core principle that overcomes laziness & excuses- which everyone battles.

There is no hack–only alignment and focus.

Discipline must come from within–yes, coaching and accountability can help– but ultimately, the pearson receiving guidance has to do the work.

The funny thing about discipline is there is and always will be resistance. I felt resistance today when I slept like trash and didn’t want to get up at 5:00 am–but I got up anyway because that’s what is required for today.

When discipline gets tough ask yourself...If I was already where I wanted to be in this area of life (business, personal, physical) how would I respond? Or, if there is someone you look up to in an area of life, ask, "how would they act?"

Discipline is the key. And it's 100% in your power to use it to become the person you can be.

Creatine Might Boost Brainpower, Too

Most people know creatine for muscle and performance. But a new study shows it might give your brain a boost—especially when you’re running on fumes. In a sleep-deprived test, participants who took a single high dose of creatine (0.35g/kg) performed better on memory, math, and logic tasks compared to those who took a placebo. It didn’t erase fatigue—but it reduced the mental fog.

This won’t make you Einstein overnight. But if you’re burning the candle at both ends, creatine might be your secret weapon for staying sharp.

My Favorite Muscle Building Rep Scheme

There are 3 primary drivers for muscle growth in the gym:
1. Mechanical tension - heavy weight through a full range of motion.
2. Metabolic stress – the pump.
3. Muscle soreness - the least important one, but it still matters.
